In sales or swaps HLC offers the following services to clients:

  • Advice on marketing strategy (public auction, targeted auction, one-to-one sale, swap etc.);

  • Identifying prospective buyers;

  • Valuation;

  • Identification of asset value and potential upside;

  • Preparation of marketing materials (IM, data room materials, management presentation etc.);

  • Coordination of the sales process and management of the data room;

  • Evaluation and negotiation of offers and

  • Support through to completion.


In summary, overseeing, organising and executing the process from start to finish.



In helping a client make an acquisition HLC can lead a pro-active search for acquisition targets, pre-screening potential sellers without releasing the identity of the client in the first instance. It can also work with the client on a reactive project, where a specific sale opportunity has been made known to the client and/or HLC.

HLC typically provides the following services to its client:

  • Identification of acquisition opportunities and advice on strategy and tactics;

  • Facilitate approaches to third parties and their advisers;

  • Identification and analysis of potential competing bidders;

  • Valuation (including analyses of likely competing bids);

  • Coordination of the acquisition process including assistance with the review of data;

  • Preparation of internal management and board presentations;

  • Submission and negotiation of offers;

  • Support through to completion.
